I am a giraffe!
In preperation for Burning Man, I rummaged around and found some fantastic cloth/material to make nifty outfits to wear that would make me smile. Thing is, I'm not a seamstress. My cow outfit that I made last year is lopsided. My funky furry dress I made for a NYE party began falling apart by the end of the evening. And this year, I'm a bit busy to even try and ameliorate my skills in time for BM.
So when I found out that a friend was a designer/couturier, I begged her to make me some outfits. I brought over the material I had and discussed my ideas. She instantly understood, measured me, and said she'd call when she was done.
And oh my gosh! She's amazing. Here is my first outfit. A giraffe! She's almost done with my second, but I'll wait to post it until the hair piece is done. And when the third one is done, I'll tell you who this talented artist is. Stay tuned : )

Thanks Eva! Actually, Dav will be decked out as a LION so I'm sure no one will dare disturb his turf. We'll have to hang out at Xara's though...a theme camp at Burning Man that has a huge tent full of jungle decor, good music, and real grass! We'll fit right in :)
