Before we eat since it is quite a production. Whew...Izumi and I are meanwhile sipping some wine...Although she is more busy with their numerous demands.

I know it sounds absolutely like an idiot...but seeing the cutie kids, I was thinking of how to teach kids eating with chopsticks. Are there tiny versions of adults' chopsticks? I should whack my head for silly questions...hmph.

You probably won't believe it, but Chuck E. Cheese's has child size chopsticks in their prize section (where you redeem your tickets). They are connected at one end, so the kids can learn how to use them! I thought that was so cool..

Hi,

Yeah, there are child versions of chopsticks...just smaller. It is a learning process, but kids manage. However, recently there has been a lot of fuss in Japan over how young parents are not teaching kids correctly...and so more and more adults are not using chopsticks 'correctly.'

Yeah, I'm addicted to the chopsticks that have a loop to hold your thumb in place.

Oh, so i was being only half as silly :) I should read up on the improper use complaints...there sure is something on the net. Good to learn new things every day!

Well it looks like the world would probably adapt to Western culture more often but well there is people that know how to use chopsticks correctly as times change it would be funny if people in USA the Americas and Europe to don't know how to use thier knives, forks and spoons but I tell you well chopsticks are being used worldwide well I know how to use these things so I am not Japanese you know.
