I love Freaky Randomness

Here is a wonderful email I received just after arriving in Tokyo. I totally remember this person and all she writes about. I'm going to try and meet up with her and Jeff tonight.

It may be Freaky Randomness, but for me it's the normal overlapping of paths that weren't perceivable before until the internet and blogs. : )

****** OK, I love this kind of freaky randomness. You and Dav and me and Jeff met up one night in
Shibuya over two years ago, at a tiny little
bar/restaurant (forget the exact name of the area, but
you'd known the owner since you were a kid). Dav had
just come into town to visit for (I think) the first
time. He had found Jeff's web site where he was
streaming long mixes of alt-country mixed with ambient
and downtempo music and had suggested we all meet up
during his visit to Tokyo. In my mind's eye, Dav is
also wearing a cow suit, or a cow jacket with a hood.
Some cow-like piece of clothing. After two years of living in New Zealand, Jeff and I
moved back to Tokyo two days ago. Yesterday we found a
super-cool house to live in, in Nishi Koyama. Today I
did a Google search on Nishi Koyama to see what comes
up about the area, and I found your Tokyo Tidbits
site, and then the kokochi.com site and find you now
live in San Francisco, which is my hometown. And are
currently in Tokyo on business. So I figured with all these coincidences I should
write you an email. If you have any spare time on this
trip, it would be excellent to meet up. If not, would
be great to keep in touch anyway. The photo I'm
attaching is from the website that Dav originally
found. Cheers, and enjoy your trip. Lisa
