ok, we're heading out...
not sure if we're too early, but we're heading to the hospital. I'm scared that I won't even be dilated, but it hurts so I sorta wouldn't mind getting the car journey over with...I'm in good spirits :)
p.s. actually, as soon as we packed up, I got a better handle so we're still at home actually...but will go soon...

OMG, I can't beleive you're blogging your labour. You're the awesomest! I'm sending positive waves down to SF from Vancouver! Positiveeeee positivveeeeeee!
yep...that's the thing with labor...in between contractions, I'm rather normal :)
I'm so excited for you! You have to give me a call when she arrives! Even if it's in the middle of the night. Hopefully you won't have a long labor. Gambatte ne!
You go girl!! Thinking of you from Tokyo. TuTu and I are sending our love!! Am well impressed you are blogging this!!
I am in London, en route to Austria, but had to log in to check on the status of baby Yaginuma! I think going to the hospital early is wise -- you don't want to deal with the check-in later, plus it'll be reassuring once baby is connected to the monitors so you know she's great. All the best -- please keep us posted!
Ohhh, I missed these blogs :) If it's July 4, then remember that a lot of things happened today (yesterday)! World Cup semi finale (where my team got kicked out, boo), another ship going into space...the big and the small things alike.
Dav had done a name-the-baby post...let me just tell you that while naming a baby "Shy" may seem a bit weird, it actually means "gift" in Hebrew (though the translit would be 'Shai' or 'Shay'), and I think nowadays they give the name to girls and boys alike.
If I calculated the time diff right...you're probably shortly past everything (I'm positive, I count on a speedy delivery ;) ). Brave girl!!! Brave Dave!!
WOW! How exciting that is all happening now after what must seem like a long wait! Hope it all goes well and that the mother and baby come out of it all safely and happy!
OMG! Have all fingers and toes crossed!
She's here!!
(just got the email alert from Dav)
Dav and Mie are happy to announce the arrival of Tesla Rhea Yaginuma!
She was born at 0920a and weighs in at 7 pounds and 0 ounces.
Baby in the house!
Welcome to the world! And from her birth information she's a Cancer with Leo rising and her moon in Scorpio, a good blend.
We want the baby! Show us the baby! :)
Seriously - hope you are doing great! Will and I are so so happy for you! It's all just so exciting!
Congratulations! Look forward to seeing pics.
OMG Mie! You get so much blogging cred.
But where's the entry that says "I'm pushing now"?
Congrats! and Welcome to baby Tesla!
Hooray!
Welcome Tesla!
Over the phone I can tell she has a great set of vocal cords. And I'm told Tesla -really- doesn't buy into all that astrology falderal...
Sean
Yeah with her moon in Scorpio she would be very skeptical of the stars....she's sooo beyond that already I am sure.
