The second one is clearly "feigned indignation."

Congratulations Mie, Dav.
Cute kid, she doesn't look at all like Winston Churchill[1].

Well that's it, life as you once knew it is over. Shoulders forever smelling of sour milk, eyes puffy from lack of sleep, your next year's existence revolves around the logistics of poo disposal. Altho you may find yourself, exhausted beyond belief, in the kitchen at 4am gently pounding your forehead against the cupboards muttering 'why oh why', rest assured, the journey you have just begun will be incredibly interesting and rewarding. Relish every moment no matter how strange and/or disagreeable[2] 'cause they grow up faster than you expect.

Again, congratulations. (I'm kinda jealous of lil Tesla, having you two for parents.)
So, you taking her to Burning Man this summer?

[1]Studies show that 90% of newborns closely resemble the late British Prime Minister.
[2]Remind me to tell you sometime my one-year-old-with-diarrhea-at-the-beach story. Horrible, hideous and foul, a nightmare of epic proportions (who knew a kid could liquid excrete 4 times his body weight in 12 hours?) at the time, but an amusing (in a 5th-grade doodie-humour[3] sorta way) anecdote now.
[3] Really, is there any other kinda humour?
